My bubble machine came in the mail today! no joke, I bought a bubble machine for work, so that when we have our kick-off event outside we will draw attention with our crazy bounce, and our bubble machine. I am pretty awesome. It works great--- check it out! (photo is a different model, but the same machine--- and it makes so many bubbles in such little time! its amazing!) we tried it out in the yard, and were very impressed--- and pumped that we lived on a busy street so we could show everyone who drove past!

Wow! one year ago Today Micah asked me to marry him! Its been a fantastic year! Micah and I were both feeling under the weather today, but managed to get one of our favorite meals with my parents and Bryan at the Windmill Restaurant in Holland-- the Hashbrown Omelet with Cinnamon Rolls. With my parents in Wisconsin, Micah and I became the best siblings ever and moved Lynnae into the third floor of Bennink in 95 degree heat! What a wonderful end of summer kind of day! Micah and I went up to his parents house with Nate and Tracie, and Ken. We had a wonderful day full of food, water, and tennis. I water skiied for the first time, for about 10 seconds. It was fun, but I am sore now!

I spent a long day at LLPP, but it was a lot of fun. One of the little girls who is new to our classroom looked at me in the morning while I was reading her a book and said "Are you Dora the explorer?" I am not, but I loved that she thought I was!

Micah and I also spent a lovely time at Sarah's Birthday Party in the evening and hanging out with her brother Nathan and sister-in-law Tracie, and my friend Rachel. What a great bunch of people!

I got the oil changed in the Honda, I went to work at LLPP, and then I went to my friends Julie's house to watch the movie "Valentines Day". It was a cute movie, despite its tainted reviews, we both enjoyed it!

Another day, another dollar! I had meetings today and shopped around for a bubble blower for church and a hand vacuum for me! I got one (a vacuum that is), and I have to charge it for 20 hours before I can use it. I do NOT like hauling out the big vacuum for just a little mess, so for 35 dollars, I got this shark vacuum. I think (i hope) it works well, and that it will do the quick little job!

The Keeley Family band's summer CRC tour began and ended today! 3rd CRC in Kzoo, and the CRCG in Grand Haven. Micah and I are exhausted. We both got to try Bryan's moped today though- what fun!

DOG-O-RAMA!

Today was Dog-o-rama in Zeeland. what a fun day! Nate and Tracie came over to visit and see the exciting dogs. We watched Pastor John and his wife Dawn (also ordained) bless the dogs, and then stuck around for some contests (including longest tongue, cutest puppy, and look alike owner dog contest. Today was so awesome, it needed two pictures! (Top: cutest puppy contestant-- littlest dog i saw all day! Bottom: Look-alike contest)

Today, Micah and I have been married for 5 months already! wow! it went fast! We bothed work today, so here is a picture from the archives!

Thursday, August 19

I had a Parent as Teachers meeting with all the parent educators. It was exciting, we are starting playgroups, including one at Second Reformed Church once a month! I also got a toy farm. It was pretty exciting!

Wednesday August 18

Today I helped my parents with Passport, their VBS kind of program with Kids Hope at their church, and then heading to Zeeland to go Mini golfing with the youth Group! We had a great time, but I am not very good at Mini-golfing!

Busy day at work, out and about, but Micah and I went to Wolfies to use my gift certificate i got a long time ago, and it was FANTASTIC ! no joke! we loved it! Then we rented "Date Night" and that was great too. Its nice to have Micah not working evenings, i enjoy spending these evenings with him.

Today, Micah and I had a busy sunday! We were both in both services (Micah was the accompanist and I was the liturgist). Then later, youth group (which was a lot of fun) and then finially we watched the Ebay auction on Micah's accordion end. we made out pretty good!

Saturday, August 14

Micah and I both had a day off! We went to Berrien Springs to take a peak at Andrews University to see what it is like, for PT school. Then we went to south haven, and found ourselves in the middle of a parade route! We got out of there and went to spend some time in Saguatuck. After we got home, we went to one of Micah's families favorite food joints-- J's again. We celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa VanderHill, it was their 51st anniversary.

p.s. Little Paxton is doing better! They family has a diagnosis and Paxton will have surgery to fix it, but It seems as though hope is in sight! Praise God!

Friday the 13th! I spent some time with babies, and young preschoolers and then I went to the sidewalk sales with Analisa and Alisha. We had a great time! I found these--- cat creamers. I think I need to buy one for my aunt linda, and one for my sister bethany!

Today I went to meet in GR to talk about the book group: shaped by God. I am excited about this group and cant wait to get deeper into my dad's book! (Here is a picture of my dad--- at a club with me.)

Today I went to see a bunch of my friends from high school - it was wonderful to catch up with them at Emily's house in GR! she had a cat that behaved like a dog, and jumped up on a door while we were there. wild!

Another Tuesday! Working in the the office, visiting with a family for a little while, and I have been praying for a little baby boy who is in the hospital. I an not sure whats going on, but I hear he is doing a little bit better. Keep in your prayers little Paxton (pictured).
